Wonderful Nairobi wedding!

Mombasa Wedding Photographer 

It's been a couple of years since I photographed a wedding in South Africa. The quality of light here is just stunning, coupled with the incredible White Sands Hotel as a setting, it had everything a destination wedding could want. Priti and Amish are the most bubbly of couples with a cheeky streak that made photographing them an adventure.

The morning before day one of their wedding, we met up for half an hour to do a little E-shoot, a little get together in front of the camera to make Priti and Amish at ease, and within a minute of taking pictures, any nerves were totally gone, a relaxed and documentary approach to shooting does not involve 'posing', something they were totally in love with, the first few photographs in this collection are wonderful proof of this.

Emotion, love and a lot of laughter

 I simply adore the Asian culture, the energy and way of life, with weddings there is always a strong link between tradition, family values and a marvellous sense of joy in celebrating a union between two people, they are not afraid to show their emotions. Just the thought of Priti and Amish's Kenya wedding immediately puts a smile on my face. I cannot even type their names without sporting a huge grin. I see every wedding as an adventure, and this is the perfect, perfect example.

Beautiful Wedding in Mombasa

Take two amazing people so in love, White Sands is one of the best hotels along the white washed beaches of Mombasa, hundreds of guests, dancing, laughter and a real sense of living life with a smile on your face, it all simply adds up to the perfect recipe for why life can be so amazing. 

A wedding over three days culminating in a sun drenched  ceremony overlooking the ocean, each day a roller coaster of love, laughter and emotion. These two people and their amazing friends epitomise the word the word fun, and make my job as a story telling photographer a kick ass job. Priti and Amish, thank you.
