TWO WONDERFUL WEDDING DAYS IN ONE.

Miriam and Matthew's wonderful intimate wedding at Ormskirk registry office, followed by a magic garden celebration with friends and family.

Amazing honour to be invited to see Miraim and Matthew finally say I do and tie the knot in Ormskirk after their original plans were put on hold due to the pandemic.

But what had to go on hold turned out to be pure gold when it was allowed to happen, because now they have the unique plan of 2 celebrations: Day one an intimate celebration of tying the knot with their lovely parents, and day 2, more celebrations in August with all their family, friends and loved ones.

I pondered wether to split the two days into two separate blog posts, but the reason I chose to encompass it all into one beautiful story is because it is about two beautiful people becoming one: Mr & Mrs McNeill. Two amazing days become one amazing reason to celebrate life.

It was worth the wait!

DAY ONE:

After the intimate get together and the popping of champagne, a mini bus was ready to take them into Ormskirk to finally say 'I Do"

The wearing of masks is commonplace in 2021, during a wedding ceremony is quite unusual, but Miriam and Matthew were allowed to take them off for the wedding vows, Miriam's emotion was pure magic x

Back to parents house for a nice quiet moment of reflection before heading off to Liverpool for a family meal.

A perfect ending to what has been a crazy year of planning, this amazing day is the first chapter of their story, the big beautiful bash is to come in August, we cannot wait!

DAY 2.

Father seeing his beautiful daughter for the first time in her wedding dress is always the most amazing moment. Today was possibly the wettest this year, but with the aid of an umbrella, a reassuring hand, Dad and bride Miriam entered the wonderful gazebo on the stunning lawns. as their family and friends watched xx

A wonderful ceremony conducted by the lovely Cate from Pinkandgingerceremonies was complimented by the wedding bands which so personal. After the kiss, something wonderful happened: the rain stopped and the sun came out!

Champagne, canapes on the lawn, a string quartet in the background and the lovely sound of love and laughter: beautiful!

A short drive to Hurlston Hall in Matt & Miriams friends rare classic Rover R100 car, a wonderful ride to a fantastic venue!
