Lewes wedding photographer – Joanna & Jack. 

On the south coast just 5 miles east of Brighton lies a little ancient town called Lewes. I’ve been along this beautiful south coast many times before, but this little place literally takes your breath away.

Right in the heart of this lovely town, down a little cobbled side road lies a 16^th Century Georgian building called Pelham House

Joanna and Jack chose this elegant Hotel in Lewes as the setting for their big lovely day. 

Walking into the hotel, you are greeted by beautiful flowers that were expertly dressed around the hotel, all handmade by the family florist Spriggs Florists of Petworth. It all set the scene with those magic little details that made Pelham House a perfect venue.

The Groom Jack is a farrier by trade and every table setting was personally marked by a horseshoe with a guests name hand painted on it and every table was named after a bottle of Gin, with Jacks sister making the table plan complete with hand drawn cartoons of bottles marking out the seatting plan.

After a lovely intimate civil ceremony in the stunning terrace room with it’s 16^th century panelled walls, the newlyweds were joined on the terrace and gardens with their guests to enjoy bubbly and canapé’s in the sunshine.

 As the night drew in, again, Pelham house excelled as a venue, the ballroom again proved the perfect luxurious setting for dancing, laughter and love.
