Heaton House Wedding Photographer
A beautiful morning in Uttoxeter as we arrived for Michelle and Chris's wedding in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. My first visit to the little village of Rushton Spencer, a perfect location with stunning views across the rolling hills of Staffordshire. It was all chilled and relaxed whilst Michelle and her bridesmaids got ready upstairs
Marriage service at St Michaels C of E Church.
The church was a one minute drive round the corner from Michelle's house and because she worked for Rolls Royce, you can guess the mode of transport for arrival, a stunning vintage Rolls!
Chris and his ushers were at the gates to give the arriving guests a warm welcome as they made their way into the beautiful church. First of the wedding party to arrive was the bridesmaids, smiling and giggling, anticipating Michelle's arrival.
Keeping a tight hold of Dad's hand as they made their was down the isle was a wonderful moment. After a wonderful service, the couple were followed down the isle and out of the church into the sunshine by a Jazz band, the Brass Funkeys. In 25 years of shooting weddings, i've never seen this before, such a lovely joyous moment.
After a huge shower of confetti, we took 5 minutes to capture those all important family shots under the beautiful old trees that lined the church entrance, then, and there's that link again, Chris being a Rolls Royce engineer, a bottle of bubbly was opened and with the top down, a lovely drive to the wedding reception.
Perfect Wedding Reception at Heaton House Farm.
Champagne and canapé's on the patio at Heaton House with the Jazz band playing in the background, complete with ice-cream van was the perfect setting for guests to unwind.
Being a real farm, the happy couple had a chance to feed some lambs, see pics below.... The wedding breakfast was held in the imposing back room followed by a wonderfully relaxed evening where guests played frisbee on the lawn, capped off with a perfect sunset before the band set up to get the evening party started.
One thing I've never seen before was a pizza land-rover, where evening guests had individual pizzas made for them. Just like the day: Delicious!
